Leonardo da Vinci made many contributions of his genius during his golden years. Form the beautiful art works to the invention of the helicopter, Leonardo created innovative works of both the art and the science world. He painted the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper, which are considered the most famous of his paintings. He made large contributions in the medical world by depicting the human body in incredible detail; because dissection of humans was illegal during his time, Leonardo was able to write in Latin and backwards to confuse other readers. In the science world, Leonardo created numerous blue prints of ingenious inventions, which included helicopters, submarines, and spring powered cars. His works and blue prints would later shape the modern day world in many aspects.
